SAVE THE DATE

Alright, it's finally time to lock in the dates on your calendars.

CVGC 2023 will be held on...drum roll please...Saturday September 2nd 2023 (aka Labor Day Weekend).  I know that 3 day weekends can be harder for people to break away, but there's a reason behind the madness.  As it turns out, Evan will be turning 11 and I'll be turning the big FOUR OHHHHH a few days later, so, while everyone is around, we are planning to have a big ol party Friday night to celebrate.  Here are the details for the weekend:

Friday Night

•   Dinner at Natalita's #2 (http://www.natalitasrestaurant2.com/).
•   Mosey (walk) on over to The Game Preserve (https://gamepreservehouston.com/).  The first 10 people that RSVP will get free entry on us as we will have 10 guest passes available.  Note for those that have never been, The Game Preserve is a retro arcade that specializes in pinball.  They have a BYOB policy, so we can bring stuff from the house or pick up a case of something from the Walgreens at the end of the shopping center.
•   Once people start to get sick of the arcade, we'll come back to Casa de Lauer for a chill night cap of a movie and possibly some party games.

Saturday Early

•   CVGC setup for me and Mike; relaxation and pregame rituals for everyone else.

Saturday Night

•   The Main Event.  CVGC The Revenge!
•   I'm going to have a few surprises in store this year (as always), but here's a taste of one of the things that we will be auctioning off:

Sunday

•   Eat some breakfast and then SCRAM!
•   Just kidding.  We're all off Monday, so take your time and head out whenever you feel comfortable.

Guys and Gals, I don't know about you, but I'm ready.  Let's kick this thing back off in style!
