I'm going to keep this page simple.
Ultimately, this is your weekend.
The following schedule is a loose suggestion of what I think we should do. It's open for debate and will probably be adjusted on the fly.
5 PM:
Dinner at Natalita's #2 (http://www.natalitasrestaurant2.com/).
Mosey (walk) on over to The Game Preserve (https://gamepreservehouston.com/). The first 10 people that RSVP will get free entry on us as we will have 10 guest passes available. Note for those that have never been, The Game Preserve is a retro arcade that specializes in pinball. They have a BYOB policy, so we can bring stuff from the house or pick up a case of something from the Walgreens at the end of the shopping center.
Once people start to get sick of the arcade, we'll come back to Casa de Lauer for a chill night cap of a movie and possibly some party games.
LATE PM:
People will be trickling in throughout the night so we'll just sit around, talk, eat, game (board, card, video, whatever), watch movies, etc. etc. If anyone has any other big "party" style games, this would be a good time to break them out. If you want to hold any special tournaments (Nidhogg, Bushido Blade, Towerfall, etc.) then let me know so that I can make sure that everything is operational before you show up. If nothing else, I will force people to play some Rock Band with me.
If you're planning on staying at my place for the night, that's fine, but with that you have to understand that some people are going to stay up and I do NOT expect them to be quiet (within reason). The point of this night is a party and that's what we're going to do. No hard feelings, just warning you.
AM:
Get up and eat sugar filled cereals or greasy food (depending on our hangover levels) and, if we're lucky, watch a few old school cartoons.
CVGC setup for me and Mike; relaxation and pregame rituals for everyone else!
6 PM:
CVGC THE REVENGE!!!!!!! Check out the details for this on the event page.
Late PM:
CRANK UP THE MUSIC! PARTY UNTIL YOUR FACE MELTS!
AM:
Take it easy. Probably watch a movie or something. Go back to gaming if you're h@rdc0r3.
If you have any other suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them in the comments. That's also a great place to try to organize any other games or trips that you want to participate in. :)
